The starfish and the chiseled 8 pack. Took the drive up to Tauranga in my Ferrari slash Toyota for the beaut wedding of Harriet & Blake at the scenic @eagleridgeestate
Great to hang out with my BOP fam @wildandwhim and @marriedbykelsey with plenty of laughs, good chat and the cutest little doggie ring bearers you ever did see. Things were a breeze with Max on the MC duty, a 20 minute halftime show by Renee & Elle and putting my on spin on the old school detail shots. Can’t wait for Andy to adopt me into the fam and give me one of his cars but for now check out the fun time snaps. Shoutout to @rachel.hadfield for helping me out on when I knee’d a hand/knee.

It feels like only yesterday I was stacking 12 cubes of wood, taking down scaffolding and painting my house during my little mini summer break….

Hope everyone is staying hearty and safe this holiday season. I’m back on the photo tools from tomorrow for a couple weddings this week and I get to bust out my new @sonyalpha.anz A7IV and 35mm G master combo, with my 50mm G not too far away.

What is 2022 bringing to the table this year? Another condensed and tricky calendar meaning I’ll be having a couple of associates covering a couple of weddings for me this year. So shout out to @andreastephens.photography and @ryanmccauleyphoto who have or will be jumping on board, really appreciate it and also the flexibility and understanding from my couples.

Katy and Matt’s wedding @oldforestschool I had @andreastephens.photography cover the last couple hours of their wedding day so I could hit the road for my next wedding and checkout her slick first dance snap in front of the barn. Looked like a pumping dance floor by the boys @pat_for_president_nz

Such a beaut intimate wedding. Stunningly styled with pieces by @paperdarlingnz , perfect @vinkadesign dress matched with the perfect shoes. Heading into the hectic run home for the silly season and I got to capture Harriet and Sam’s wedding at the amazingly beautiful @theblackbarnlaketarawera just outside of Rotorua. A scorching hot morning followed by some misty moody goodness. Some great yarns about people getting randomly tackled into drum kits and the finest beef cooked perfectly by none other than @terracecatering_nz Also got to stretch the legs on my new @sonyalpha.anz 35mm G Master lens thanks to the lads @aucklandcameracentre with a bit more new kit to come. Back off to Rotorua this week with 4 weddings to finish the year mixed in with a few cheeky Gins to keep me sane. Be kind, be patient and be grateful, 2022 is nearly here.

I made my way up north to the Bay of Plenty for a stunner for Shannon and Hamish’s wedding day at The Black Walnut just outside of Tauranga. Surrounded by their closest friends and family. With the help of some of the industry’s best vendors, an epic day, plenty of banter and a couple of stunning dresses helped bring the wedding together.

A little look back at an Old Forest School wedding filled with rustic charm, wild gardens and dusky pastel hues. Celebrating with their nearest and dearest ASH + DARCY said their vows with a garden ceremony amongst these enchanted surrounds.

With their shared love of the outdoors, the woodlands setting of Old Forest School stole their hearts. This historic old school set on 5 aches of private forest and farmland in Pongakawa, just outside of Tauranga.
